There are moments in this work that remind you exactly why you started. Our recent outreach session — one of many GTS Hub conducts as part of the Green Transition Awareness & Career Pathways (GTAP) programme — was exactly one of those moments.
Gathered in a school compound in Accra, a group of students listened intently as our team walked them through the opportunities that Ghana's green economy presents. These are young people who are curious, capable, and determined — they just need to know that a path exists.
The Conversation That Changes Everything
Many of the students we meet have never heard of solar installation as a career. They have never been told that green hydrogen is a field Ghana is investing in. They don't know that someone who can install and maintain a smart mini-grid is urgently needed in communities across the country.
Our outreach sessions change that in a single afternoon. By the time our team leaves, we see something shift — students who came in uncertain leave with purpose. Some immediately ask how to apply. Others want to start Green Clubs at their schools.

Why Outreach Matters

GTS Hub's GTAP programme is targeting 15 Senior High Schools and 10 TVET institutions across Ghana, reaching an estimated 8,000 students. Each outreach is a seed planted — and we are committed to watering every single one.
